How do I find what I want?

All framed prints

Click ‘All frames prints’ and then you can play with the ‘Filters’ on the left (‘Colour’ is a fun filter to try), or navigate by section (e.g. Cars)


Try ‘Search’ in the top menu bar. We are constantly adding keywords to it to help you find what you like.


Click ‘Home’ and you will see one colour version of each image. Click on an image to see more colours.

NB. On a Product Page you can view a print in each of the six frame finishes. You can also choose a frame size and glazing option (prices will be adjusted automatically).

What are the delivery costs?

Delivery is free within the UK.

How long will delivery take?

We currently offer a free express delivery service which usually takes between 1 and 2 working days, depending on where you are in the UK. However, all framed prints are made to order, so please also add a production time before despatch of around 4 working days.

What countries or locations will you deliver to?

At the present time we deliver within the UK only.

When will you dispatch my order?

All framed prints are made to order and dispatch times may vary depending on the specification. As a guide, most are dispatched at around 4 working days after receipt of the order.

NB. we currently offer an free express delivery service which then takes between 1 and 2 working days after dispatch.

How can I pay?

At the present time, you can pay with most payment cards such as MasterCard, Visa, Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Discover, Diners Club, AMEX etc. However, on occasion, this may be subject to change. You will see which cards are currently accepted as you go through the payment process.

Can I change the delivery address?

Unfortunately it is not possible to change or cancel your order once you have clicked to 'confirm' your order on the website. If you want to make any amendments to the delivery address for example, please contact us as soon as you can. We will do our best to make your amendments to the order, but cannot confirm that it will be possible.

Can I get my order quicker?

At the present time we cannot speed up the production and delivery process.

I don’t have a Confirmation of Order?

You should receive an email confirmation shortly after your order. If you do not, please check your ‘junk’ mail. If you still do not have a confirmation, please contact us at

Can I cancel my order?

As each product is made to order, once you have clicked to 'confirm' your order on the website, it is not possible to change or cancel your order. 

What sizes are available?

All prints are limited editions and are available in the following sizes and quantities. 

All images (except trains) are available in either portrait or landscape format in the following sizes: 30x40cm (qty 250), 40x50cm (qty 200), 50x70cm (qty 150)

Train images are available in a wider 2:1 landscape format as follows: 25x50cm (qty 250), 40x80cm (qty 200), 50x100cm (qty 150).

Are other sizes available?

Unfortunately, no - we have carefully selected size options to cover most individual preferences.

However, we may consider producing much larger options for larger environments on an individual basis - please contact

What frame style is available?

We have carefully selected a simple, square profile frame style to complement our designs with a choice of black, white, gold, silver, wood (natural) and brown (dark wood) finishes. All images are printed on 315gsm Cold Press Watercolour Paper sitting flush (and mountless) within the frame. Further details about frames are available on each product page.

What paper or stock do you print on?

We print on high quality, 315gsm Cold Press Watercolour Paper (CPWP). It comes with a matte finish and has been carefully selected for its ability to handle vivid flat colours. It is a 100% cotton rag paper with a tight, highly textured surface perfect for archival fine art prints.

What glazing options are available?

You can choose from Float Glass, Perspex or Tru View Museum Glass to make it extra special. All options are available on the product page. Further details about glazing are also available on each product page.

NB. Prices will vary depending on your glazing choice.

Are all images limited editions?

Yes. There is a limited number of each image at a particular size (see ‘What sizes are available?’) 

Our philosophy is to offer our customers something special. This also means that we will need to stay creative and add more and more fresh ideas and images as we go along - something that we really enjoy.

Do you just sell framed prints?

At the moment, yes. 

Do you sell prints without the frame?

Tribalidol will only produce a limited amount of each print size, and because of this, we only provide each one as a fully finished, framed product.

However, there are options for size, frame colour and glazing (also see 'What sizes are available')

Will you create any further images in the future?

Yes, we really enjoy creating images that fit with our tribalidol ethos and we intend to add more in the future. Watch this space.

Why are you called tribalidol?

We focus mostly on the late ‘60s through to the ‘90s when many people identified with or experienced different tribes - and within those tribes, many of us had specific idols that we really looked up to or found iconic. So, our name is a unique mix of the words tribal and idol (also see 'About Us').
